Update on the Designers' Showhouse - 11/06/2007

Thank you to Crown Contractors and homeowners David and Rebecca Rustine for offering their beautiful new home as the location for the Vero Beach Designers’ Showhouse. Due to a short production timeframe for all participants involved in this monumental event, including volunteers and designers, and out of respect for our local businesses who already graciously support our community with their philanthropic endeavors, the VNA & Hospice Foundation and the Senior Resource Association have decided to postpone the inaugural event until early 2009.

We recognize the ambitious pressure that we potentially place on our community’s businesses and the urgent requirement of time on our wonderful volunteers. To ensure future success for VNA and SRA, and to preserve the standards of our community and of everyone involved, the organizations will soon announce a new date for the Vero Beach Designers’ Showhouse tour.

To maintain our momentum and the community’s enthusiasm, we will offer preliminary events in 2008, including the continuation of the March 14th and 15th Celebrity Luncheon & Lecture at Vero Beach Hotel & Club featuring Ms. Scalamandre Bitter, and an exclusive cocktail party at the showhouse tentatively scheduled for November. We appreciate your continued support.
